Exclusive Services offered at Midwest Podiatry Services include Neurosensory Testing

Neurosensory TestingMidwest Podiatry Services is one of four offices in Cook County that is certified through Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD to offer this state-of-the-art testing. Neurosensory testing is the newest form of a non-invasive, painless, diagnostic, quantitative measurement in providing the degree of neuropathy; even at a very early onset. This, in turn, benefits the patient; early detection can prevent further complications and point to early intervention. It is beneficial for all patients with any degree of neuropathy including diabetic patients, post chemotherapy patients, patients with structural/tarsal tunnel symptoms and patients with neuropathy of unknown origins. The American Diabetes Association is now recommending that all diabetics have yearly Neurosensory testing as a baseline for documentation. Our staff takes the utmost pride in providing the highest quality care in the most comfortable surroundings. We specialize in serving the needs of the patient in a compassionate, professional environment.
